After 21 years in the lobster trap business, I decided the business was too much for me alone, with the
passing of Bob in 2004. Last summer I decided to open a nautical gift shop and expand the internet shopping site we
have had for the past 10 years. Both were a huge success!!!
Only problem was, I would bump into Mr. Walker at Home Depot and heard his complaints about the high prices being charged
the guys, Mr. Neal's complaints at the gas station, about the prices being charged by the local lobstering supply company,
Mr. Perkins & Mr. Yorke wondering if I was gonna be able to order wire kits for them this year. So after ordering
kits for 3 lobstermen, one call turned into another and another!!!
OK, guys!!!!! Now I have decided to get back into (JUST) the resale of wire lobster
trap kits. The funny thing was, I still had 100 traps to build for a Kittery lobsterman and I went and ordered the wire
and materials from one of the large distributors of trap wire and I was astonished at the high prices they charged me for
the wire kits!!!! But being the last wire and supplies I would be buying, I said, "oh heck, this will
be the end of it anyways!!!" Then I called Riverdale Mills and placed orders for 3 lobstermen and then I was really
PO'd at the price I was charged!!! Yes, you lobstermen complaining to me about the HIGH prices, were absolutely
right!!!!! Hence, I am now offering lobster trap kits at wholesale prices!!!!!
You guys can call the

open a set schedule of hours is gonna keep my overhead down, thus, keep the price for kits lower. You can just call
and set up a time to pick up your order and I will meet you at the shop!!!
Do remember now, it is best to order in 100 kit packages because the shipping for a pallet is $75.00 to my place.
If two of you guys can get together and order 50 a piece that is great. If you guys have a place to unload the kits
with a forktruck the shipping anywhere in New England is still $75.00. If you guys unload at a house by hand, I believe
there is an additional charge of $26.00 for the first pallet and $21.00 for each pallet thereafter. So, you guys are
probably better off offering the local business, with a forktruck, a few lobsters to unload the truck!!!!
